This Refund Policy (the "Policy") forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Notice of the portal www.holoacademia.com and of the Holoacademia platform (the "Portal"), operated by GERARDO MISAEL DONOVARROS BELDERRAIN (the "Company"). By purchasing, registering, accessing, or using any of the Portal's products, content, or services, the User or Customer declares that they have read, understood, and expressly accepted this Policy.
Last updated: June 2026.
1. Nature of the products and services
Holoacademia markets digital products with immediate access (courses, diploma programs, library, documentaries, meditations, and other online content) and on-demand services (including the therapeutic software and the consultations or readings it generates). By their nature, these products and services are considered delivered, consumed, and rendered from the moment the Customer obtains access, runs a consultation, or views the content, in whole or in part.
2. General policy: no refunds
Since these are digital goods with immediate access and on-demand services that have effectively been rendered, all sales are final and no refund, return, or cancellation with a money-back is available once the purchase has been made and/or access has been enabled. This includes, by way of example but not limitation, purchases of individual courses or diploma programs, memberships, subscriptions, consultations with the software, and any content or service on the Portal.
The Customer acknowledges that charges made to debit or credit cards, or through any payment platform, in connection with the products and services will not be subject to refund.
3. Customer's responsibility
It is the Customer's sole responsibility, before making any payment: (i) to read the description, scope, and features of the product or service; (ii) to verify that it meets their expectations and needs; (iii) to confirm that they meet the technical requirements to access it (internet connection, compatible device and browser); and (iv) to review this Policy, the Terms and Conditions, and the Privacy Notice. The purchase decision is free, informed, and made under the Customer's own responsibility.
4. Memberships and subscriptions
The Customer may cancel their subscription at any time, at their sole discretion and without penalty, which will stop charges for subsequent periods. Cancellation does not result in a refund of payments corresponding to periods already started or already covered, which remain active until the end of the contracted period.
5. Acceptance of the Policy
By using the platform, registering, purchasing any product or service, or making a payment, the Customer accepts and agrees to this Policy in its entirety and gives their express consent that, due to the digital and immediate nature of the products and services, no refund applies.
6. Clarifications, charges, and payment disputes
Any question, clarification, or complaint relating to a charge must be handled directly and first with the Company, through the contact channels indicated, before initiating any dispute or chargeback with the issuing bank or payment platform (including, among others, banks, PayPal, and Mercado Pago).
The Customer acknowledges and accepts that, in the case of digital content effectively delivered and services effectively rendered, a chargeback based on "product or service not received" or "unrecognized charge" would be improper. The Company retains and may provide to the financial institution or payment platform the evidence of the contracting, delivery, and access (purchase records, logins, content consumption, and acceptance of these policies) to prove the legitimacy of the charge and support the inadmissibility of the dispute.
7. Consumer rights
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes the rights that Mexican law recognizes as non-waivable for consumers. In the event of any discrepancy, the applicable public-order provisions shall prevail.
8. Legal framework and jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the Federal Consumer Protection Law, the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, and other applicable federal legislation of the United Mexican States. For the interpretation and performance of this Policy, the parties submit to Mexican federal law and to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tlalpan, Mexico City, waiving any other venue that might correspond to them by reason of their present or future domicile. The Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) has administrative authority to resolve consumer disputes.
