Install Holo Hub
Follow the steps for your device. It's quick, and every step comes with a picture so you never lose your place.
Tap the button on the phone where you're going to install it.
Tap "Download the app"
A file called HoloHub.apk starts downloading. Wait for it to finish (just a few seconds).
Open the downloaded file
Tap the download notification, or go to Files › Downloads and tap HoloHub.apk.
A security warning pops up — that's NORMAL
Because it isn't from the store, Android shows a warning. Tap "Install anyway". If you only see Cancel, tap "More details" first.
Tap the green "Install anyway" button.
If it asks for permission, turn it on
It may ask you to "Allow from this source" (or "install unknown apps"). Turn it on and go back; it installs by itself.
Open Holo Hub and sign in
Log in with your email (or with Google) and you'll see your Academia based on your subscription. Done! 🎉
The warnings appear because the app installs outside of Google Play, not because there's anything wrong with it. It's the same app from holoacademia.tv.
Install the "Downloader" app
On your Fire TV, search for Downloader (the orange icon) in the app store and install it. It's free.
Open Downloader and type the address
In the address field, type exactly:
Type holoacademia.tv/apk and press Go.
Download and tap "Install"
The download starts on its own. When it finishes, the install screen appears: tap Install (bottom right).
If a security warning shows → "Install anyway"
It's normal when installing from outside the store. If Fire TV asks, allow apps from unknown sources for Downloader and try again.
Open Holo Hub: a code appears
When you open the app on the TV, you'll see a screen with a 6-letter code.

On your phone, activate the TV
From your phone (already signed in), go to holoacademia.tv/activar, enter the code from the TV and tap Activate TV.
Done! The TV signs in by itself
Within seconds, your Fire TV shows the Academia with your courses. 🎉
On the TV you only watch the content in your subscription. To subscribe or change plans, go to holoacademia.tv from your phone or computer.
The iPhone and iPad (Apple) version is coming soon.
